Oska for Touch Screen
Oska is a new technology software solution that has been designed to take advantage of touch technology and new input methods.
Oska utilises advancements in touch technology to offer innovative opportunities by developing a brand new approach to the way in which a computer can be operated. By using on-screen touch control, Oska quickly and easily allows any Windows Application to be controlled by touch alone.
With the creation of context based on-screen keyboards, Oska is ideal with use with applications that were not specifically designed for touch control. Most software is designed for keyboard and mouse operation, causing problems as the menu groupings are not designed for touch control. Oska can reconfigure Windows Applications using context based on-screen keyboards, allowing users to maximise the benefits of touch screen control.
The global market for touch screen PCs is growing year on year as users and developers are seeing touch control as a requirement rather than an option. Touch screens have been part of the commercial landscape in recent years and are now common place at supermarket checkouts, ATMS, and Point of Sale Terminals.
With the growth in touch screen technology and the decreasing in price of touch screen displays, it is evident that touch is the future of computer technology and Oska is very much a part of that future.
